IT Operations Manager - US (Remote)

About Foxtrot
Foxtrot Services is a specialized Palantir partner, founded by former Palantir business leaders, bringing deep, hands-on experience delivering AI and data platforms in complex, high-stakes enterprise and government settings.

We help organizations turn messy data reality into systems people actually trust, use, and scale, from modern data engineering through production AI-powered use cases and operational workflows.

We work across industries including automotive, healthcare, financial services, and supply chain. Foxtrot is built for people who want both autonomy and a team that shows up for them. You will have room to own work, plus experienced teammates who will coach, review, and help you level up fast. We value curiosity, technical fluency, strong collaboration, and high integrity. If that sounds like you, we hope you’ll join us.

Your Role
Foxtrot is looking for an IT Operations Manager to own and continuously improve the systems, devices, access controls, support processes, and IT operational workflows that keep our team productive and secure.

You will serve as the administrator and operational owner of Foxtrot’s internal technology environment, partnering closely with the CTO, Engineering, PeopleOps, company leadership, and functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Administer IT systems, applications, licenses, and user access.
  • Conduct access reviews, enforce least privilege, and manage access requests, approvals, provisioning, changes, and removal.
  • Maintain the information-asset inventory.
  • Partner with PeopleOps on onboarding, offboarding, and role changes.
  • Own device procurement, configuration, shipment, repairs, returns, replacement, upgrades, repurposing, disposal, and recovery.
  • Maintain inventory and workflows with approvals, controls, and budget discipline.
  • Execute IT pre-onboarding and onboarding.
  • Maintain Slack and email support channels.
  • Define and meet SLAs: ~2-hour Slack and ~12-hour email first response, with urgency-based resolution targets.
  • Provide live video/Google Meet and phone support as needed.
  • Partner with the CTO to create and maintain IT policies and SOPs.
  • Maintain policy documentation and employee acknowledgements.
  • Integrate IT workflows with FoxOps, partnering with the CTO and Engineering to centralize management and tracking.
  • Connect IT workflows with Foxtrot’s internal HR platform in partnership with PeopleOps.

Qualifications

  • IT administration fluency with Google Workspace; Microsoft Entra ID, Teams, and Microsoft 365; Zip Security; Jamf Pro; Microsoft Intune; Rippling; and OpenAI, Claude, and Gemini.
  • Strong problem-solving across the technology stack; comfortable learning and owning new systems.
  • Strong knowledge of identity/access management, least privilege, endpoint management, and IT controls.
  • Excellent communicator and partner across executive and functional teams.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and clear on plans, progress, risks, and results.

Preferred Experience

  • 4-7 years in IT Operations, Systems Administration, IT Support, or similar.
  • Hands-on experience with SaaS administration, identity/access, endpoint management, collaboration tools, onboarding/offboarding, provisioning, and device lifecycle management.
  • Experience building IT workflows, SOPs, and controls with PeopleOps, Engineering, Finance, and leadership.
  • Growing, distributed, or remote-first company experience strongly preferred.

Why Work at Foxtrot?

  • Right place, right time. Foxtrot is growing fast as AI and data become must-haves for enterprise teams, not nice-to-haves.
  • Work that matters. You will help deliver real outcomes for clients, not just plans, and see your work make a difference.
  • Help shape how we deliver. As we grow, you will have a voice in improving how we work, how we run projects, and how we keep quality high.
  • Strong culture, no drama. You will work with smart, collaborative teammates in a high-trust, low-ego environment.
  • Best-in-class tools. You will get hands-on with industry-leading platforms like Palantir Foundry.
