Responsibilities

• Portfolio Leadership: Guide senior teams and federal customers through the full project lifecycle with a strong bias toward action and mission clarity.
• CTO Strategic Alignment: Partner directly with the Chief Technology Officer to translate long-term technical vision into mission-ready federal deployments, ensuring Foxtrot remains at the cutting edge of Palantir’s product evolution.
• Strategic Connector: Serve as the lead bridge across Foxtrot, Palantir, and USG organizations to ensure seamless delivery, identify cross-project dependencies, and surface strategic risks.
• Standardize Excellence: In collaboration with the CTO, evolve Foxtrot’s delivery methodologies and technical rituals to ensure consistency, efficiency, and high-quality outcomes across the entire USG portfolio.
• High-Stakes Partnership: Act as a trusted advisor to government executives and Palantir leadership, ensuring mission needs are anticipated and relationships are nurtured for long-term impact.
• Operational Strategy: Collaborate with Foxtrot leadership, recruiting, and business development to shape the future of our USG arm - informing staffing decisions and long-term operational strategy.
• Team Mentorship: Foster a collaborative, high-performance environment where engineers feel supported and company values are reinforced through daily technical excellence.
• Growth & Renewal: Partner with CSOs and Sales to drive contract expansions and extensions through consistent delivery and the strategic identification of new mission use cases.

Qualifications

• Experience: 6+ years of experience in technical delivery, consulting, or operations leadership - specifically within the USG/Federal space.
• Palantir Pedigree: Extensive experience at Palantir, specifically within the USG business unit. You must have a deep understanding of Foundry and the Palantir ecosystem from a 'delta' perspective.
• Leadership Track Record: Proven experience as a Technical Lead (TL) or equivalent senior lead role, managing cross-functional teams and complex, mentoring junior colleagues, and high-stakes federal deployments.
• Security Clearance: Must possess an active U.S. DOD security clearance.
• Communication: Exceptional ability to engage with both deeply technical engineers and high-level government executives with confidence and clarity.
• Citizenship: U.S. citizenship required.
• Location: D.C. area preferred; remote applicants within the U.S. are welcome.

• Compliance & Reporting: Experience navigating the complexities of federal reporting, compliance, and security requirements.
• Organizational Scaling: Demonstrated ability to improve internal operations and delivery practices within a rapidly growing organization.
