Your Role
Foxtrot is seeking a highly skilled Head of Engineering Operations & Delivery to lead our delivery operations and ensure the successful execution of projects and services. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing large-scale delivery teams, optimizing processes, and fostering continuous improvement. This leadership role will oversee the full project lifecycle—from planning to execution and monitoring—while collaborating with cross-functional teams, including project managers, developers, and clients.
As Head of Engineering Operations & Delivery, you will shape and implement best practices, methodologies, and tools to enhance the efficiency and quality of our delivery processes. In this strategic role, you will play a key part in building strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners to ensure their satisfaction and long-term loyalty.
Key Responsibilities
As the Head of Engineering Operations & Delivery, you will be responsible for:
Leading the end-to-end project delivery process, ensuring timely, on-budget completion of projects while meeting quality standards.
Managing and mentoring cross-functional teams to drive exceptional outcomes for clients.
Developing and executing delivery strategies, tracking project progress, and mitigating risks.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, ensuring satisfaction and continued business.
Establishing and optimizing delivery processes, standard practices, and methodologies for improved performance.
Overseeing resource allocation throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring the right personnel are assigned at the right time.
Ensuring effective performance management, employee development, and retention within engineering teams.
Managing third-party vendors and contractors to ensure seamless collaboration.
Key Areas of Responsibility
Customer Relationship Management: Ensure satisfaction and quality in both technical performance and adherence to schedules.
Resourcing: Oversee candidate screening, interviewing, and personnel allocation, aligning with Foxtrot’s business needs and team development strategies.
Training & Development: Lead employee training programs, including both technical and non-technical curricula, certification initiatives, and development opportunities.
Leadership: Collaborate with Foxtrot Enterprise Leads and the executive leadership team to drive operational success and business growth.
Qualifications
Minimum of 4 years of experience leading and managing engineering projects
At least 2 years of experience with Palantir Foundry in an engineering capacity
Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience, including oversight of project teams, budgets, schedules, and deliverables
